Shape the future workforce of one of Queensland's most diverse local government organisations.

As the senior Talent Acquisition Partner within our People and Culture team, you'll play a pivotal role in influencing how Redland City Council attracts, engages and secures critical talent across a diverse range of professions. You will bring demonstrated experience developing attraction and sourcing strategies, building talent pipelines and partnering with stakeholders to solve complex workforce challenges. Comfortable operating with a high degree of autonomy, you will provide expert advice, leverage labour market insights and identify opportunities for continuous improvement that strengthen Council's ability to attract and retain high-quality talent.

As Council's subject matter expert for attraction, sourcing and recruitment strategy, you will influence recruitment capability across the organisation and play a key role in advancing contemporary talent acquisition practices. You will combine strategic thinking with a hands‑on approach to deliver innovative talent solutions that support workforce capability, enhance candidate experience and contribute to Council's long‑term success.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Developing innovative attraction and sourcing strategies for critical and hard-to-fill roles.
  • Building and maintaining talent pipelines and talent communities to support future workforce needs.
  • Partnering with leaders to understand workforce challenges and deliver proactive talent solutions.
  • Analysing recruitment trends and workforce data to inform talent acquisition strategies.
  • Leading talent acquisition projects and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Enhancing Council's employer brand and candidate experience.
  • Identifying opportunities to leverage technology and AI-enabled recruitment tools.
  • Building recruitment capability across the organisation through coaching and education.
  • Championing inclusive recruitment practices that support workforce diversity.
