Job summary

Geosyntec Consultants in Perth is seeking a Tailings / Geotechnical Engineer to join our Perth Tailings Group, supporting mine waste and tailings projects for Tier 1 energy and resources clients.

You will apply geotechnical knowledge to design tailings storage facilities, assess dam safety, and work with multi-disciplinary teams across geotechnical, hydrogeology and civil engineering.

Qualifications

Degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering is required.
Be eligible for Engineers Australia membership and CPENG status or working towards it.
1–5+ years of consulting experience in geotechnical practice.

Responsibilities

Civil/Geotechnical/Tailings dam design.
Geotechnical analyses using software packages.
Oversee and coordinate geotechnical field investigations.
