The Athlete’s Foot Victoria Gardens is seeking an enthusiastic Assistant Manager to join the team. You’ll partner with the Store Manager to lead a high-energy footwear store, deliver exceptional customer experiences, and drive sales while managing rosters and stock.

You’ll work with top brands and help grow a caring community around health and sport. Ideal candidates bring proven leadership in retail, a KPI-driven mindset, and hands-on expertise in stock control and visual merchandising.

Qualifications

• Experience as an Assistant Store Manager or 3IC in a fast-paced retail environment.
• Results-driven mindset with a track record of meeting KPIs and sales targets.
• Strong leadership skills and the ability to motivate a team.
• Solid understanding of stock control and visual merchandising best practices.
• Proactive in rostering, wage control and delivering outstanding customer service.

As Assistant Store Manager, You’ll

• Lead by example to deliver outstanding customer service, utilising our advanced MyFit 3D technology.
• Motivate and inspire your team to consistently exceed sales targets and KPIs.
• Monitor team performance and proactively identify opportunities for growth and improvement.
• Collaborate with the Store Manager to effectively manage rosters and control wage spend within company guidelines.
• Support daily store operations, ensuring high standards in store presentation, visual merchandising, and stock management.
• Champion team training, development, and succession planning to build a strong, skilled workforce.
• Foster community engagement through sporting partnerships and healthcare professional relationships.
• Ensure compliance with OH&S requirements in line with national and state regulations.

Skills And Experience

• Previous experience as an Assistant Store Manager or 3IC in a fast-paced retail environment

• Strong leadership skills and the ability to motivate a team
• Proven success in meeting KPIs and sales targets
