Job summary

The Athlete’s Foot Rosebud is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to lead a dynamic team, deliver exceptional customer experiences, and partner with the Store Manager to drive sales and service.

You will manage rosters, stock, merchandising, and training while leveraging MyFit 3D technology and brand partnerships with Nike, Adidas, Hoka, and more to grow the business.

Qualifications

• Experience in a fast-paced retail environment as Assistant Store Manager or senior sales role.
• Ability to lead and motivate a team to meet KPIs and sales targets.
• Strong stock control and visual merchandising knowledge.

About the Role

We’re seeking an enthusiastic Assistant Manager to join our team at The Athlete’s Foot Rosebud! As Assistant Store Manager, you'll:

• Lead by example to deliver outstanding customer service, utilising our advanced MyFit 3D technology.
• Motivate and inspire your team to consistently exceed sales targets and KPIs.
• Monitor team performance and proactively identify opportunities for growth and improvement.
• Collaborate with the Store Manager to effectively manage rosters and control wage spend within company guidelines.
• Support daily store operations, ensuring high standards in store presentation, visual merchandising, and stock management.
• Champion team training, development, and succession planning to build a strong, skilled workforce.
• Foster community engagement through sporting partnerships and healthcare professional relationships.
• Ensure compliance with OH&S requirements in line with national and state regulations.

Skills and Experience

• Previous experience as an Assistant Store Manager or senior casual Sales Assistant, Key Holder, Supervisor or 3IC in a fast-paced retail environment
• A results-driven, ‘Make it Happen’ mindset
• Strong leadership skills and the ability to motivate a team
• Proven success in meeting KPIs and sales targets
• Solid understanding of stock control and visual merchandising best practices
