Job summary

The Queensland Government seeks a Senior Systems Support Officer to coordinate day-to-day operational support of Medical Imaging systems across Logan, Beaudesert, Redland and Dunwich Hospitals. You will provide technical leadership, coordinate system support activities and help ensure PACS, RIS and associated applications remain reliable, fit for purpose.

You will coordinate first-line technical support, troubleshoot across integrations, and lead or deliver projects with agreed timeframes.

  • Experience with healthcare IT systems and clinical workflows.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate first-line technical support for Medical Imaging systems (PACS/RIS).
  • Troubleshoot, upgrade, and integrate PACS, RIS and associated applications.
  • Lead or deliver projects with defined resources and timelines.
  • Identify workflow and service delivery improvements and implement changes.
  • Provide system training and liaise with clinical, technical and external stakeholders.

Your new role:As a Senior Systems Support Officer, you will coordinate the day-to-day operational support of Medical Imaging systems across Logan, Beaudesert, Redland and Dunwich Hospitals. Working within a multidisciplinary environment, you'll provide technical leadership, coordinate system support activities and help ensure PACS, RIS and associated applications remain reliable, effective and fit for purpose.Coordinate first-line technical support, troubleshooting, system integrations, upgrades and enhancements across Medical Imaging systems.Provide specialist support across PACS, RIS and associated applications, including quality assurance and system optimisation.Lead or independently deliver projects, coordinating resources, implementation activities and agreed timeframes.Identify opportunities to improve workflows, system performance and service delivery, and coordinate approved improvements.About you:You are a technically skilled and collaborative professional who can combine strong systems knowledge with operational leadership.
