Job summary

Electro Optic Systems is seeking a Systems Safety Engineer to lead safety analysis across the product development lifecycle. You will work with cross-functional teams and SMEs in Systems Safety, Human Factors, RAM, and EMI to deliver robust safety solutions.

Responsibilities include conducting the systems engineering review, supporting configuration control for milestone reviews, and developing verification & validation plans with sign-off evidence, plus producing safety artefacts to support

• Conduct the systems engineering review process for the whole product development lifecycle.
• Support the configuration control of systems for program milestone reviews.
• Develop verification and validation plans and ensure capture of analysis and test results allowing sign-off of requirements.
• Engage key stakeholders and SME’s across technical engineering and specialty areas such as Systems Safety / Human Factors / Reliability Availability Maintainability / Electromagnetic Environmental Effects to develop effective solutions.
• Development of systems safety engineering documentation and artefacts.
• Contribute to the development of engineering designs and decisions.
