Job summary

L3Harris Australia (Integrated Mission Systems Australia) seeks multiple levels of Systems Engineers to contribute to high-profile Australian Defence programs. You will support contracted outputs for communications/navigations/platform management subsystems across ships in the acquisition program.

Your remit includes ship inspections, coordinating with customers, OEMs and staff to define requirements, assess constraints, draft design documents, test procedures and reports, and support the safety

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience in the Systems Engineering Lifecycle.
• Able to obtain and hold Australian Defence Security Clearance to NV1
• Defence industry experience preferred
• Degree in Communications/Electrical/Electronics/Systems Engineering or similar
• Development of specifications, requirements, design, and test procedures
• Knowledge of operation of communications equipment and systems
• Understanding of Configuration Management practices and procedures

Responsibilities

• Conduct ship inspections and liaise with customers, OEMs and staff to develop requirements and assess constraints.
• Design documents, test procedures and test reports; support the safety program.
• Contribute to end-to-end engineering outputs for communications/navigations/platform management subsystems.
