Job summary

Babcock Australia & New Zealand is hiring a Systems Engineer to apply engineering expertise across the product lifecycle, delivering investigations, analysis and solutions that sustain complex products and services.

You will work with autonomy, plan and deliver your own work, participate in technical reviews, and ensure safety, compliance and robust engineering processes while supporting continuous improvement and capability development.

Qualifications

Relevant experience in relatable technical/engineering roles.
Understanding of PLM or MRP systems, design, simulation and analysis software.
Exposure and experience in Systems Engineering Lifecycle.
Desirable RF, HF and/or communications discipline experience.
Demonstrated experience with requirements management and toolsets (e.g. IBM DOORS).
Proficiency with Jira, Confluence and other project management/documentation tools.

Responsibilities

Apply engineering principles across the lifecycle to investigate problems and develop solutions.
Deliver technical investigations, analysis, and documentation for complex products.
Contribute to technical reviews with stakeholders and ensure safety/compliance.
Support continuous improvement and knowledge sharing across the engineering team.
Manage own work and communicate technical information through reviews and presentations.
