Job summary

Business Review Group seeks a Systems Engineer – CJC10 – L3 to support the DHFCS capability under the SHFC Program. You will develop, manage, and maintain engineering documentation, provide formal engineering advice, and enforce engineering processes in line with IC3SPO QMS.

Responsibilities include risk management, workshops, and collaboration with the wider CJC10 Product Team to ensure contractual deliverables meet requirements for the DHFCS implementation.

Qualifications

• Chartered Professional Engineer status is required or obtainable.
• Knowledge of ODCS is preferred.
• Tertiary qualifications in Systems Engineering or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop, manage and maintain the CJC10 Engineering Documentation suite.
• Provide formal engineering advice regarding product engineering activities across relevant contracts.
• Exercise Engineering Delegation issued by the Chief Engineer IC3SPO.
• Update and maintain technical risks for CJC10.
• Assist the CJC10 Engineering Team with engineering activities and professional development.
• Collaborate with the wider CJC10 Product Team to provide engineering input across disciplines.
• Review and provide engineering feedback on contract deliverables for DHFCS capability.
• Organise and coordinate engineering workshops.
• Maintain compliance of CJC10 engineering processes with IC3SPO QMS.
• Conduct tasks required by the O5 Engineering Manager CJC10.

Position Description

The SHFC Program is responsible for provision of the Defence High Frequency Communications System (DHFCS) capability to the Joint Capabilities Group Capability Manager. Capability is provided through Sustainment under CJC010 and enhancement under the JP9101PH1 Project.

Responsibilities

• Develop, manage and maintain the CJC10 Engineering Documentation suite.
• Provide formal engineering advice regarding product engineering activities across relevant contracts.
• Exercise appropriate Engineering Delegation issued by the Chief Engineer IC3SPO.
• Update and maintain technical risks for CJC10.
• Assist the CJC10 Engineering Team with engineering activities and facilitate professional development.
• Collaborate with the wider CJC10 Product Team to provide engineering input across discipline streams.
• Review and provide engineering feedback on contract deliverables supporting implementation of the DHFCS capability.
• Organise and coordinate engineering workshops.
• Maintain compliance of CJC10 engineering processes with IC3SPO QMS.
• Conduct tasks required by the O5 Engineering Manager CJC10.

Qualifications & Experience
