Job summary

Reece Australia Pty Ltd is seeking a Systems Engineer for its Branch Technologies team. You will keep our branch network connected, support devices and telephony, and drive automation to reduce manual work.

The role involves deploying and maintaining systems across Windows, Mac, mobile, and branch infrastructure, tackling Tier 2/3 escalations, and collaborating with multiple engineering and security teams to deliver reliable technology for branches and customers.

Systems Engineer Reecetech is the technology team behind Reece Group. We build and support the digital tools, platforms and technology experiences that help our branch teams and customers get the job done. We’re practical, curious and customer-focused — and we’re always looking for better ways to work. We’re looking for a Systems Engineer to join our Branch Technologies team.

This role is all about keeping our branches connected, supported and ready to trade — engineering and supporting the technology that sits in our branches, from endpoints and mobile devices to telephony, digital displays and the systems that support day‑to‑day operations. Working in a cloud‑native, everything‑as‑code environment, you’ll apply shared engineering standards across our branch network, support technology rollouts, solve complex escalations and help remove manual work through automation. It’s a hands‑on role for someone who enjoys building practical solutions that make life easier for the teams who rely on them every day.

About the role

Engineer, support and improve branch technology across a large, distributed network. Work across Windows, Mac, mobile, telephony, displays, branch systems and supporting infrastructure. Deploy and maintain systems using code, automation and repeatable engineering practices. Support branch openings, refurbishments, relocations and technology rollouts. Investigate and resolve Tier 2 / Tier 3 escalations with root‑cause thinking. Partner with EUC, IT Operations, Delivery Engineering, Cloud Engineering, Security and vendor partners.

About you

You have solid experience in systems, infrastructure or endpoint engineering. You know your way around Intune, Jamf, Microsoft 365, Entra ID, conditional access and Windows / Linux server administration. You’re comfortable with scripting and automation using tools like PowerShell, Bash, Terraform, Ansible or similar. You enjoy solving problems properly — not just applying quick fixes. You work well across teams, communicate clearly and bring a practical, customer‑first approach. You’re keen to learn, improve and play your part in a team that backs each other.
