Job summary

GPC Asia Pacific is seeking an experienced Systems Developer to join our Business Systems Solutions Group in Melbourne. You will design, develop, enhance and support our core mainframe ERP environment, focusing on CICS COBOL integrations and complex data interfaces.

Reporting to the Application Team Lead, you will map interfaces, prepare design documentation, coordinate testing, and participate in on-call support rotations as part of a collaborative, fast-paced team.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of mainframe application design and development.
• Strong hands-on experience with: CICS, COBOL, MVS, JCL, TSO, Datacom-DB, DB2, VSAM.
• Strong analysis, solution design, testing and debugging skills.
• Experience with Datacom-DB will be highly regarded.
• Ability to manage priorities, meet deadlines and work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Strong stakeholder-management and communication skills.
• Tertiary qualification in Information Technology or a related discipline.
