Job summary

Coronado Global Resources seeks a Systems and Assurance Lead at the Curragh Complex in Blackwater to govern HSET systems, assure compliance, and drive reporting integrity across the operation. You will partner with the Manager HSET and site leaders to identify risks, improvements and system capabilities.

The role requires coordinating governance, data quality and access controls while enabling consistent use across sites and functions.

Qualifications

• Significant experience with HSET systems, assurance, compliance and governance.
• Supervisory or senior specialist capacity in mining or heavy industry.
• Strong understanding of governance and assurance in HSET management.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and leadership capability.

We are seeking a Systems and Assurance Lead to join our team at the Curragh Complex in Blackwater.
This role will provide support across statutory compliance, assurance and governance activities, helping ensure accurate reporting, effective record management and the integrity of our safety systems.

What You'll Do

Your role will be interesting and varied and will include:

• Lead the governance framework for key HSET management systems across the operation.
• Establish clear standards for system ownership, data integrity, access, configuration and reporting.
• Ensure systems remain aligned with legislative, corporate and operational requirements.
• Provide strategic advice to the Manager HSET and operational leaders regarding system capability, risks and improvement opportunities.
• Drive consistency in the application and use of HSET systems across sites and functions.

What You'll Bring

You'll be organised, detail focused and comfortable working across multiple systems, stakeholders and compliance requirements.

Ideally, you will bring:

• Significant experience in HSET systems, assurance, compliance, risk or a discipline within mining or heavy industry.
• Demonstrated experience in supervisory, leadership or senior specialist capacity.
• Strong understanding of HSET management systems, governance and assurance.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capability.
• Strong stakeholder engagement, influencing and leadership capability
• Experience with Damstra, FPe, ChemAlert and Power BI
• Experience with contractor management and site access systems.
• Experience integrating training and competency systems.
• Experience with SAP/Success Factors.
