Job summary

Emanate Technology is seeking an experienced Systems Administrator for a state government department in Brisbane. This hands-on role covers both cloud and on-prem infrastructure, with focus on Windows Server, Microsoft 365, SCCM and endpoint management.

The position is an initial 3-month contract with a high chance of extension, offering a hybrid work pattern: 3 days in the office and 2 days working from home, at a daily rate of $633 including super.

Qualifications

• Strong experience in a Microsoft-focused infrastructure environment.
• Hands-on across Windows Server, M365, and endpoint management (SCCM/Intune).
• Solid troubleshooting skills across server and network environments.
• Comfortable working across both support and project work.

Responsibilities

• Provide Level 2/3 support across infrastructure and systems.
• Support server upgrades, maintenance, and lifecycle management.
• Assist with deployment and configuration of new technologies.
• Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure issues end-to-end.
• Work closely with internal teams and stakeholders on ongoing initiatives.
• Contribute to improving system performance and reliability.

I’m currently working with a state government department seeking an experienced Systems Administrator to join their team on an initial 3-month contract. This is a well-rounded infrastructure role within a large and complex environment, suited to someone who enjoys being hands-on while also contributing to upgrades, improvements, and broader initiatives.

Join a diverse Microsoft technology environment where you'll support and enhance both cloud and on-premises infrastructure. You'll be working with technologies such as Windows Server, SCCM, networking, and Microsoft 365, with Windows Server and SCCM expertise being a key requirement.

Key Responsibilities:
