Job summary

Davidson is seeking a Senior Systems Administrator in Brisbane CBD for a 12-month contract with hybrid working. You will provide advanced technical capability across enterprise OS, endpoint and server platforms, and Azure-integrated services.

The role spans systems administration, automation and development, focusing on maintainable enterprise solutions and strong documentation. Expect hands-on work with PowerShell, SCCM/Intune and Graph integrations.

Qualifications

• Strong enterprise experience across Windows operating systems, endpoint and server platforms.
• Advanced PowerShell scripting and automation capability.
• Hands-on experience with SCCM/MECM and Microsoft Intune.
• Strong knowledge of Azure services and Microsoft Graph, including integrations.
• Excellent troubleshooting skills with the ability to document, peer review and mentor others.

Responsibilities

• Design, maintain and troubleshoot enterprise endpoint and server platforms.
• Develop automation, scripts and tooling using PowerShell and C# .NET.

• Develop configuration items and Graph-based integrations to improve service reliability.

Join a major Queensland Government environment as a Senior Systems Administrator, providing advanced technical capability across enterprise operating systems, endpoint and server platforms, Azure-integrated services and managed operating environments. This is an initial 12-month contract based in Brisbane CBD, offering hybrid working with three days per week in the office.

About the Role

This is a hands-on senior technical position spanning systems administration, automation and development, with a strong focus on creating maintainable and supportable enterprise solutions.

• Design, maintain and troubleshoot enterprise endpoint and server platforms.
• Develop automation, scripts and tooling using PowerShell and C# .NET.
• Support and enhance SCCM, Intune, Azure services and Microsoft Graph.
• Develop configuration items and Graph-based integrations to improve service reliability.

You will be a technically strong systems specialist who can operate across traditional Microsoft infrastructure, modern endpoint management and Azure-integrated environments.

• Up to $94.50 per hour + super / $105.84 + GST
• Brisbane CBD with hybrid working, three days per week in the office.
