Job summary

CDC Data Centres is seeking a Systems Administrator to join our corporate and operational technology teams in Australia. The role focuses on day-to-day operations, integration and ongoing support, acting as the primary escalation point for Help Desk incidents.

The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure, M365, Intune and VMware, plus proven ability to troubleshoot complex issues at levels 2 and 3. Australian citizenship with NV1 clearance is preferred.

  • Previous experience supporting Operational Technology Environments is a bonus!

  • Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure security through access controls, backups and firewalls.
  • Manage network servers, workstations, and infrastructure for efficiency and reliability.
  • Implement upgrades, patches and new releases while developing technical documentation and IT policies.
  • Train, mentor and support staff in adopting new technologies and best practices.
  • Provide cultural leadership and take on additional duties as required.

About the role

The Systems Administrator manages the day-to-day operations of systems and solutions within CDC's Corporate and Operational Technology environments. They ensure seamless integration and ongoing support while acting as the primary escalation point for Help Desk incidents.

Other Responsibilities Include:

  • Provide cultural leadership, champion IT policies, and take on additional duties as required.
About you

This role is ideal for a candidate with proven experience in troubleshooting complex application and system issues at Levels 2 and 3. The incumbent should also have strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure, M365, Intune and VMWare.
