Job summary

Thales Australia in Sydney's Rydalmere area seeks a System Engineering Manager to lead end-to-end engineering project delivery from planning through commissioning. You will coordinate cross-functional teams, manage safety, schedule, and budget, and embed delivery governance across a matrix organisation.

The role requires engineering leadership, experience with the System Engineering Lifecycle, ASDEFCON-aligned governance, and knowledge of Earned Value Management. Hybrid work options apply.

Qualifications

• Proven experience delivering end-to-end systems in the lifecycle.
• Strong leadership of cross-functional teams across planning, execution and delivery.
• Working knowledge of Earned Value Management and governance standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead engineering project delivery from early planning through commissioning.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams, stakeholders and delivery partners to meet safety, schedule and budget.
• Track and control performance against scope, timeline, budget and quality across the lifecycle.
• Support bids with Scope of Work documentation and technical bid support.
