Job summary

Thales is seeking a System Engineer focused on Verification & Validation to support defence vehicle and engineering programs in Australia. The role involves planning and executing V&V activities, developing test plans, and conducting system integration and acceptance testing within a complex engineering environment.

You will maintain requirements traceability and compliance documentation, with opportunities across defence, automotive, heavy vehicles, rail and aerospace sectors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical, electrical or mechatronics engineering.
• Australian citizenship is mandatory for defence projects.
• Baseline clearance is advantageous but not essential.
• Experience in V&V planning, execution and test documentation.
• Experience with requirements traceability tools such as DOORS or Polarion.
