Job summary

Humankapital is seeking an experienced Chief Operations Manager for our Sydney, NSW headquarters. This full‑time, on‑site role leads the day‑to‑day operations and drives efficiency and profitability for the organisation.

You will oversee capital works, strategic planning, budgeting and performance across business units, and manage customer support, sales and marketing activities. Applicants should have at least five years in operations leadership and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualification in a relevant field.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience as an Operations Manager.
• Experience reporting to boards and managing stakeholders.
• Strong project and operational leadership with cost control.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Managing capital works and maintenance for the Company in consultation with the Board.
• Coordinating the strategic planning of the Company.
• Reviewing financial statements and data and improving profitability of the Company.
• Improving processes and policies in support of organisational strategy and goals.
• Managing and monitoring the performance of various business units.
• Monitoring, managing and improving efficiency of support services including registrations, transfers, membership, media and finance.
• Managing customer support, as well as sales and marketing activities.
