Job summary

Johnson Controls is seeking an experienced Project Manager - Building Automation Systems (BMS) to join our Sydney Projects team. You will lead complex BMS/BAS projects from initiation through commissioning, working with engineers, technicians and industry specialists to deliver safe, on-time, on-budget outcomes.

The role requires a trade qualification in Electrical/HVAC or an engineering degree, with hands-on experience in BMS architecture, FAT/SAT, BIM/AutoCAD, and project financials.

Qualifications

• Trade qualification in Electrical or HVAC, or an Engineering degree.
• Proven experience delivering Building Management Systems (BMS), Building Automation Systems (BAS), HVAC controls, or related infrastructure projects.
• Strong understanding of BMS architecture, control systems, and overall system design principles.
• Experience managing projects through design, implementation, testing, commissioning, and client handover.
• Demonstrated ability to manage project financials, programming, and stakeholder engagement.
• Strong communication, leadership, and customer relationship management skills.
• Experience coordinating FAT and SAT activities.
• Knowledge of BIM and AutoCAD.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Project, Excel, Word, and Visio.
