Job summary

The Andersen Partnership, a leading Australasian mid-market private equity manager, seeks an Associate to contribute across the full investment cycle. You will work directly with Partners on origination, due diligence, financial modelling, deal structuring, and portfolio enhancement.

Qualifications

• Intellectually curious with a structured mind and comfort with ambiguity.
• Strong emotional intelligence and highly communicative, with a humble, collaborative approach.
• 2–4 years' experience in top-tier investment banking, private equity, or strategy consulting.
• Strong analytical and financial modelling skills and sound commercial judgement.
• Sydney-based, or willing to relocate.

Responsibilities

• Research and originate investment ideas and assess potential targets.
• Support transaction execution: due diligence, financial modelling, debt financing, and deal structuring.
• Take ownership of completion mechanics, funds flow and step plans.
• Support portfolio performance improvement and bolt-on acquisitions.
• Lead quarterly investor reporting and provide Fund board materials.
