Stromlo Leisure Centre, ACT, is hiring Swim Teachers to deliver lessons to diverse ages and abilities. You will be energetic, confident, and motivated, with a focus on water safety and clear communication.

Successful applicants manage time well, work in a team with minimal supervision, and hold relevant industry qualifications to support our swimming programs.

Qualifications

• Current First Aid (Level 2) & CPR certificate.
• Working with Vulnerable People & National Police Check.
• Current Swim Teaching Certificate.

This is a great opportunity for qualified teachers who enjoy swimming, love working with children, who want to teach the skills of swimming and the value of water safety.

The Role

Stromlo Leisure Centre is looking for energetic, confident and motivated people to join our Swim School team.

The Swim Teacher delivers swimming lessons to a wide variety of ages and abilities. Successful applicants will be effective communicators who demonstrate a strong attention to detail.

You will possess strong time management and organisational skills, as well as the ability to work well in a team environment with minimal supervision. Relevant industry qualifications are essential.
