Job summary

Belgravia Leisure operates Erindale Leisure Centre and is seeking energetic Swim Teachers to deliver lessons across ages and abilities. You will emphasize water safety and clear communication with students and guardians, while managing time and engaging in a collaborative team.

Qualifications include current First Aid, CPR, WWVP, Police Check and Swim Teaching Certificate; roles require morning/evening/weekend availability and a willingness to support a vibrant community hub under Belgravia

The Site

Belgravia Leisure is the proud contract management partner for this amazing venue. Along with the Canberra Council, we will ensure that guests are delighted when they utilise our pool for their recreation and sporting needs.

Erindale Leisure Centre, formally known as Active Leisure Centre – offers a wide range of health, fitness, and recreational facilities, including: a 25m heated indoor pool and steam room, Group fitness studios with Les Mills, freestyle, cycle, and aqua classes, Gym facilities and personal training, Swim school for children, Tennis, squash, badminton, basketball, volleyball, and indoor soccer courts, Multi‑purpose sports hall and private group training space and a Function rooms and theatre for events and hire. It’s a vibrant community hub catering to all ages and fitness levels.

The Role

Erindale Leisure Centre is looking for energetic, confident and motivated people to join our Swim School team.

The Swim Teacher delivers swimming lessons to a wide variety of ages and abilities. Successful applicants will be effective communicators who demonstrate a strong attention to detail.

You will possess strong time management and organisational skills, as well as the ability to work well in a team environment with minimal supervision. Relevant industry qualifications are essential.
