West HQ in Sydney is seeking an Aquatics Supervisor for a part-time role. You’ll lead by example, mentor Swimming Teachers, and deliver a fun Learn to Swim environment while coordinating programs with the Program Manager.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid AUSTSWIM certificate for swimming and water safety
• Current Working with Children Check (18+)
• Current First Aid Certificate and CPR
• Minimum 2 years of swimming and water safety instruction
• Experience with supervision of programs and student assessments
• Experience with CRM systems such as Xplor Recreation is desirable
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Teams

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor Swimming Teachers to deliver Learn to Swim and other aquatic programs
• Collaborate closely with the Program Manager to keep programs running smoothly
• Be the go-to person for customer inquiries and ensure a positive swimmer experience
• Conduct assessments and champion water safety across the swim school
• Grow and nurture the swim school community through teamwork and engagement

About the role

As our Aquatics Supervisor, you’ll play a vital role in shaping the future of our Learn to Swim and other Aquatic programs. Working closely with the Program Manager, you’ll help keep things running smoothly while leading and inspiring a team of passionate Swimming Teachers.

But that’s not all—this role puts you at the heart of our swim community! You’ll be the go‑to person for customer inquiries, ensuring every swimmer and their family have the best experience possible. Plus, you’ll conduct assessments, champion water safety, and help grow our swim school family.

• Teacher of Swimming and Water Safety (AUSTSWIM )
• Working with Children Check (18+)
• Current First Aid Certificate and CPR
• Demonstrated experience in teaching swimming and water safety
• Minimum 2 years of swimming and water safety instruction
• Experience with Program Supervision and student assessments
• Experience with using Customer Retention Management (CRM) Systems (Xplor Recreation Desirable)
• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, and Teams
