Job summary

North Sydney Council's NSOP is seeking a casual Swim School Customer Service Officer to join the new NSOP Learn to Swim team. You’ll manage reception, aquatics administration and wet-deck supervision during lesson times, contributing to a welcoming, professional atmosphere.

Ideal candidates will have NSW Teacher of Swimming and Water Safety qualifications, CPR, and at least two years teaching or supervisory experience, plus strong communication skills. Weekend availability is required.

Qualifications

• Holds NSW-recognised Teacher of Swimming and Water Safety qualifications.
• Current CPR Certificate and WWCC clearance.
• Minimum 2 years teaching experience as a qualified swim teacher or coach.
• Experience in basic administration and Microsoft Office.
• Strong verbal and written communication with adults and children.
• Meet NSW Child Protection and WHS requirements.

Responsibilities

• Attend Swim School reception and aquatics administration.
• Provide wet-deck supervision during lessons.
• Support Learn to Swim and Aquatic Programs customers.
• Contribute to hosting birthday parties and events.
