Job summary

North Sydney Council is seeking highly motivated casual Learn to Swim Instructors to join our NSOP team. You will deliver swimming lessons and aquatic programs to diverse learners, aligning with industry standards, while fostering water safety and a love of learning.

Sessions run 7 days a week; casual hourly rate $42.72–$51.01 plus 12% super. We offer flexible shifts, ongoing WWCC required, and opportunities to contribute to the community and learn within a world‑class facility beneath the

Qualifications

• Hold current qualifications recognised in NSW as a Teacher of Swimming and Water Safety (Austswim/ RLSS/ Swim Australia).
• Current CPR Certificate.
• Ability to communicate effectively with children and adults.
• Commit to the same shifts per week on an ongoing basis.
• Satisfy WWCC and adhere to Workplace Health and Safety requirements.

Responsibilities

• Deliver swimming lessons and aquatic programs to learners of all ages.
• Conduct lessons aligned with industry standards while promoting water safety.
• Participate in peripheral aquatic programs and activities such as hosting birthday parties.
• Be part of the core team welcoming NSOP back to the community.
