Aligned Leisure is seeking a qualified Swim Teacher to deliver safe, engaging swimming lessons across our facilities in NSW. You will apply the Swim and Survive program, adhere to OH&S guidelines, and communicate effectively with students and parents to provide an outstanding learning experience.

The role emphasises high-quality teaching, ongoing professional development and delivering superior customer service to maximise member satisfaction and retention.

Qualifications

• Swimming and Water Safety Teacher Qualification is required.
• First Aid and CPR certification is essential; Working with Children Check is required.
• OHS guidelines and industry standards should be followed in all lessons.

Responsibilities

Swim Teachers will be responsible for the delivery of safe, productive, innovative and exceptional swimming lessons by maintaining a solid understanding of the Swim and Survive program, industry developments and the OH&S guidelines applicable to the facility. Aligned Leisure Swim Teachers will continuously display their ability to communicate and engage effectively with students ensuring students of all abilities, ages and cultural needs receive an outstanding program. They will work relentlessly to engage with all students and parents regularly to maximise member retention opportunities. They will take pride in operating such an important community asset and ensure it is presented immaculately and maintained to the highest standards at all times.

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

• Swimming and Water Safety Teacher Qualification
• Teacher of Infants and Toddler Qualification (Desirable)
• First Aid and CPR Certificate.
• Working with Children Check.
• Industry experience.
