Job summary

Aligned Leisure is seeking a Lifeguard to oversee the aquatic environment, supervising patrons and staff with a focus on safety across our Victoria facilities.

You will monitor water quality, enforce rules, and respond to incidents, working with the Duty Captain to maintain high standards. Relevant checks and lifeguard qualifications are required or obtainable during employment.

Qualifications

• Essential qualifications include: prior customer service experience (preferred).
• Subject to pre-employment checks such as Police Check and a current Working with Children check.
• Must hold or be willing to attain Pool Lifeguard, First Aid and CPR qualifications.

The Lifeguard will supervise all staff and customers within the aquatic environment. They are responsible for the safety and experience of all customers. The Lifeguard will be engaging and personable, providing clear direction to all customers to ensure the aquatic environment is operating safely and that customers are behaving to acceptable standards. They will have the highest levels of awareness to pre-empt any potential issues that may arise. They will take pride in supervising such important community assets and ensure they are presented immaculately and maintained to the highest standards at all times. They will monitor water quality and liaise with the Duty Captain to maintain these high standards. ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

• 1. Previous experience in customer service (preferred)
• 2. The position will be subject to relevant pre-employment checks such as a Police Check and must maintain a current working with children check
• 3. The successful applicant must hold or be willing to attain Pool Lifeguard, first aid and CPR qualifications
