Job summary

Sunshine Coast Council is seeking a Project Manager in the Urban Growth Projects Branch to lead large urban development initiatives that shape the region’s future. You will guide projects from planning through to delivery, balancing economic growth with environmental and community outcomes.

You will manage multidisciplinary teams, provide strategic advice to senior stakeholders, and foster strong relationships with government bodies, developers and communities.

Qualifications

• Planning professional qualifications and eligible for PI Australia membership.
• Proven ability to lead major urban development projects.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead major urban development and growth management projects from planning through to implementation.
• Develop innovative planning solutions integrating economic, environmental, engineering and community outcomes.
• Provide expert advice, reporting and recommendations to senior leaders and decision-makers.
• Manage multidisciplinary teams, consultants and stakeholder relationships to deliver project outcomes.
