Job summary
The University of Melbourne invites applications for a part-time, fixed-term Manager, Sustainable Healthcare, to coordinate education, research and engagement across the Faculty of Medicine, Dentistry and Health Sciences. You will work with leaders, students and partners to deliver sustainability projects with tangible health system outcomes.
You will lead six Schools, identify funding opportunities, supervise internships, and strengthen external partnerships to advance climate and planetary
Qualifications
- Undergraduate degree in healthcare or environmental science (Masters preferred).
- Strong project management with multi-stakeholder delivery.
- Experience applying quantitative and qualitative research to sustainability, climate health, or healthcare policy.
- Ability to engage academic, clinical and professional stakeholders without formal line authority.
- Experience contributing to teaching or curriculum in sustainability or planetary health.
Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate sustainable healthcare education, research and engagement across all six MDHS Schools.
- Plan, implement and report on MDHS and MMS Sustainability, Climate and Health Strategies and projects.
- Supervise student internships and small research projects with robust methodologies.
