Job summary

MinRes is seeking an experienced Sustainability Lead in Australia to own our sustainability reporting, performance and compliance. You will lead end-to-end reporting, collaborate with executives, and drive data-driven narratives while improving systems and disclosures across the business.

You will manage data, ensure regulatory alignment, and guide a junior team member, delivering credible, practical sustainability outcomes that support stakeholder trust.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field; ESG reporting experience desirable.
• Proven track record delivering end-to-end sustainability reporting.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and data storytelling abilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead internal and external sustainability reporting cycles.
• Coordinate materiality assessments and voluntary disclosures.
• Provide advice to senior management on ESG trends and risks.
• Manage data collection, validation and narrative development.
• Coordinate external assurance activities and responses.
• Support alignment with emerging ESG regulation (e.g., EU Battery Regulation).
• Improve processes, tools and data visualisation for reporting.
• Mentor a direct report and foster practical sustainability outcomes.
