Job summary

CPB Contractors Pty is recruiting a Surveyor to join our QLD/PNG Business Unit in Brisbane. You will apply surveying principles, perform data gathering and risk assessment, and monitor performance and compliance across major infrastructure projects.

You will prepare reports and communicate risks to stakeholders as part of a collaborative delivery team. The minimum requirements include a Degree with 2+ years experience or a Diploma with 4+ years, with demonstrated ability to lead within the

Responsibilities

• Apply principles of surveying to comply with the Scope of Works and Technical Criteria (SWTC).
• Conduct quantitative and qualitative risk assessment and monitor risk controls.
• Gather data and perform statistical and trend analysis.
• Monitor, review, report and pursue continuous improvement on performance, compliance and defects.
• Communicate risks and controls to the right stakeholders at the right time.
• Interpreting project documents and preparing reports and monitoring compliance documentation.

The QLD/PNG Business Unit are currently ramping up for a significant amount of infrastructure work in Brisbane and Regional Queensland. To support these projects, they require highly experienced Surveyors.

As a Surveyor, you will be accountable for:

• Applying principles of surveying to comply with the Scope of Works and Technical Criteria (SWTC)
• Quantitative and qualitative risk assessment and development and monitoring of risk controls and actions involved in delivery and implementation of projects.
• Data gathering and statistical and trend analysis
• Monitoring, reviewing, reporting and continuous improvement on performance, compliance and defects and/or non-conformance.
• Communicate risks and their controls with the right people at the right time
• Interpreting project related documents and preparing reports and monitoring compliance documentation

Our minimum requirements for this role are:

• Degree graduate: minimum 2 years experience
• Diploma: minimum 4 years experience
• Managed self and team within discipline to deliver work
• Applying principles of surveying to comply with the scope of works technical criteria (SWTC)
• Demonstrated commercial experience to include planning up to 4 weeks ahead and reporting against cost and time
