Job summary

Geosurv Locating Pty Ltd is a leading surveying, scanning and locating company with a strong reputation in the industry. The Surveyor will lead key Tier One projects, mentor junior surveyors, and run autonomous projects while providing guidance to clients such as architects and engineers on design or construction findings.

The role requires a Diploma/Degree in Surveying or Engineering, plus experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D and Leica equipment.

Qualifications

• Minimum of five years’ experience in major and minor construction projects (high rise, warehouses, schools, aged care).
• Experience with CAD tools and surveying prep/calcs.
• Ability to advise clients (architect/engineer/project manager) based on findings.

Responsibilities

As a Surveyor you will have the opportunity to deliver keyTier One projects, mentor our more junior surveyors, run projects autonomouslyas well as receivementoring and training to continue developing yourself as a professional. Skills and Required Experience:

Have a minimum of five years’ experience Major and minor construction experience eg. high rise residential, medium rise residential, warehouses, schools and aged care facilities as well as cadastral experience

Experience using AutoCAD Civil 3D and Leica equipment is preferable Ability to complete all survey Prep/Calcs Understanding of construction process

Experience in providing client whether it may be an architect, engineer, project manager etc. on advice in relation to design or build from your findings Intermediate knowledge in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word and Excel) Experience in drafting (Auto Cad)

Have the ability to problem solve and effectively communicate with clients A minimum of a Diploma/Degree in Surveying or Engineering
