RPS Group in Port Douglas is seeking a Survey Assistant on a casual basis to join a busy, growing team. You will support the survey crew across multiple locations in the Port Douglas area, performing manual tasks and helping with equipment setup.

No prior surveying experience is required; the key is motivation and a willingness to learn. The role offers mentoring by experienced leaders and a pathway to advance to a Survey Technician.

Qualifications

• No prior experience required; self-motivated with a positive attitude.
• Ideally studying in Surveying or a related field.
• Welcomes applicants with the right attitude and desire to learn and grow.

• Assist with day-to-day survey tasks, manual work, placement of pegs, stakes and marks, and setup of survey equipment.
• Work at various locations in the Port Douglas area with the survey team.

Ourexperienced and successful Port Douglas office is looking for aSurvey Assistantto join their growing and busy team on a casual basis.

You will work at various locations in the Port Douglas area assisting the survey team with their day-to-day activities, such as assisting with various manual tasks, placement of survey pegs, stakes and marks, and the set-up of survey equipment.

About You

Whilst no prior experience is required, you will be a person who is self-motivated with a positive attitude who is serious about a career in Surveying.Ideally, you will be studying in this field or a related field, however, applications from people with the right attitude and a desire to learn and grow are also welcome!

You will also have

A Current manual driver's licence

White Card (ideally)

Australian Citizenship, or Permanent Residencyessential.
