Qualifications

Registered Nurse with AHPRA registration and no conditions
Experience in acute surgical or medical/surgical wards
Ability to prioritise care and respond in fast-changing environments
Strong communication and handover skills, patient safety focus
Familiarity with SA Health clinical documentation systems or ability to adapt quickly
Commitment to person-centred care for northern Adelaide communities

Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive pre- and post-operative nursing care, including assessment, monitoring and discharge planning
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate safe, timely patient flow across surgical wards
Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and uphold clinical standards and safety protocols
Support and mentor junior nurses and students, fostering learning and accountability
