Job summary

SA Health is seeking an Enrolled Nurse to join the Surgical Wards at Lyell McEwin and Modbury Hospitals. You will deliver high-quality, person-centred care to patients undergoing a range of surgical procedures under the supervision of a Registered Nurse.

In a fast-paced, multidisciplinary team, you will assist with assessment, planning and delivery of nursing care across admission, recovery and discharge, supporting positive patient experiences and outcomes.

Responsibilities

• As part of Surgical Wards, deliver high-quality nursing care to patients undergoing surgery.
• Assist in assessment, planning and delivery of care from admission through to discharge.
• Collaborate with surgeons, anaesthetists and allied health staff to support patient journeys.

In this role you will: work collaboratively with Registered Nurses and medical teams.

Key responsibilities

• As an Enrolled Nurse within the Surgical Wards at Lyell McEwin and Modbury Hospitals, you will play an important role in delivering high-quality, person-centred care to patients undergoing a wide range of surgical procedures.
• Working under the direction and supervision of a Registered Nurse, you will contribute to the assessment, planning and delivery of nursing care, supporting patients throughout their surgical journey from admission through to recovery and discharge.
• As a key member of our team, you'll provide exceptional patient care whilst working alongside experienced multidisciplinary teams in a supportive, collaborative environment.
• Working alongside surgeons, anaesthetists, nurses, allied health professionals and support staff, you will care for patients with a diverse range of clinical needs in a fast-paced environment that values teamwork, professionalism and continuous improvement.
