Port Pirie Regional Health Service is seeking a Surgical Ward Associate Nurse Unit Manager to provide clinical leadership in a busy surgical ward and support high-quality patient care. You will assess patients, assist with care planning and promote continuity of care across the unit, while supervising staff, rostering and resource planning and driving practice improvements.

The role works with the Nurse/Midwife Unit Manager and requires registration as a Nurse/Midwife with the NMBA and a current

Formación

• Minimum 3 years post-registration nursing/midwifery experience.
• Registered or eligible for Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia registration.
• Current practising certificate.
• Advanced clinical assessment and supervisory capability.

Responsabilidades

• Assess patients and support care planning for continuity of care.
• Provide supervision, mentoring and development for staff and students.
• Assist with rostering, work allocation and resource planning.
• Contribute to operational management of the ward and practice improvements.
