Job summary

SA Health’s Central Adelaide Local Health Network seeks a Co‑Nurse Unit Manager for The Queen Elizabeth Hospital’s South 2 surgical ward. You will lead nursing and multidisciplinary teams, coordinate patient flow and resources, and promote safe, evidence‑based practice.

You must hold NMBA registration and bring strong general surgery nursing expertise and proven clinical leadership. The role offers full‑time permanent work with a salary range of AUD 130,190–136,010 p.a.

Qualifications

• Registered nurse with NMBA registration and current Practising Certificate.
• General Surgery nursing expertise and clinical leadership experience.
• Ability to lead change, build team capability and ensure safe patient care.

Responsibilities

• Lead nursing and multidisciplinary team activities.
• Coordinate patient care, outcomes and efficient flow.
• Manage staffing, rosters, leave and work allocation; monitor budgets.
• Drive quality, safety and risk management processes; develop staff through coaching.
