Small Animal Specialist Hospital in Sydney is expanding its Theatre Team and seeking confident Surgery Nurses to join us in a full-time capacity, across a four-day roster. You will play a vital role in ensuring surgical procedures run smoothly, provide out-of-theatre support including imaging and sterilisation, and deliver expert care to our patients.

Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing and 2 years of full-time nursing experience are required, with availability to support a rotating weekend

Qualifications

• 2 years’ full-time experience as a qualified nurse
• Availability to support rotating weekend roster
• Sound knowledge and experience in anaesthesia, correct terminology, and critical care patients
• Understanding of surgical procedures, aseptic techniques, and sterile preparation
• Demonstrated ability to manage and prioritise tasks effectively in a busy environment
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skill

Nurses are the heart of team, and this role will see you play a vital role in ensuring that each and every surgical procedure runs as smoothly as possible as well as providing out of theatre support including imaging and sterilisation whilst continuing expert supportive care to our patients.

Who are we looking for?

• ACertificate IV in Veterinary Nursing(or equivalent)
