Job summary

Ultra Clean Technology in Australia is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to lead day-to-day operations, ensure safety and efficiency, and drive continuous improvement in our distribution center. You will oversee receiving, picking, packing, and shipping, schedule staff, and monitor performance to meet daily targets.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Supervise day to day operations to ensure that all activities in warehouse are carried out safely, efficiently and timely.
• Enforce compliance with company policies and safety regulations to ensure the safety of all aspects in warehouse.
• Hire, train, lead and provide regular feedback to warehouse staff to enabling them to carry out their duties with utmost efficiency.
• Monitor staff productivity by allocating sufficient resources to meet daily operational requirements, maximizing productivity and minimizing downtime.
• Manage staff performance and disciplinary issues in appropriate manner according to company policies.
• Liaise with forwarder/buyer/planner/warehouse/program to ensure smooth transactions internally as well for inbound and outbound shipment.
• Ensure data/information in system are timely & accurately updated.
• Maintain proper filing record/system for the purposes of internal or external audit.
• Consistently seek out any opportunities for process improvement, innovation and implement changes.
• Other ad-hoc duties as assigned by immediate superior.

Educational/Certification Requirement:

• Diploma in logistics or equivalent with at least of 5 years of relevant experience in supervisory role within a warehouse environment.

Experience Requirement:

• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, adapting to changing priorities and demands.
• Sound knowledge of warehouse operations, including receiving, picking, kitting and shipping procedures, as well as inventory control techniques.
• Ability to operate MHE such as forklifts, reach trucks or pallet jacks, and obtain necessary certifications if required.
• Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Analytical mindset with ability to approach problems and situations with a logical and systematic perspective.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively to meet deadlines and operational requirements.
• Knowledge of warehouse safety regulations and experience in implementing safety protocols.
• Detail-oriented with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work in shift, including weekends, as required by operational needs.
• SAP experience preferred.
