Job summary

Calvary Health Care is seeking Personal Care Support Workers to assist clients in the Newcastle region with daily living activities, domestic tasks and personal care in home and community settings.

Permanent part-time and casual roles are available, with benefits and development opportunities. A Certificate III in Aged Care or related field is desirable, plus a valid driver's licence and smartphone. Strong communication and time-management skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Certificate III in Aged Care, Home and Community Care, Disability or Individual Support (desirable).
• Current and valid driver’s licence with a comprehensively insured vehicle and a smartphone.
• Capacity to embrace a meaningful role for the community and yourself.
• Effective verbal and written communication with a customer service orientation.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Proficiency with technology such as smartphone, email and internet.
• Desire to join a mission-based organisation.
