Job summary

Mater Dei is seeking a Program Support Worker to join the NextPath Continuous Learning Program. You will help participants with disability achieve personal goals through structured learning in both onsite and community settings, fostering independence and life skills.

You will work with program coordinators, delivering individualised programs, supporting transport, and ensuring accurate progress documentation while complying with NDIS standards and internal policies.

Responsibilities

• Deliver structured, individualised programs to participants in group and 1:1 settings.
• Support participants to achieve personal goals through engagement and encouragement.
• Assist participants to access community-based learning opportunities.
• Undertake participant transport and drive as required to support service delivery.
• Accurately collect data and maintain progress notes using online systems.
• Follow participant support plans, risk assessments, and daily program plans.
• Respond to participant needs and elevate concerns as appropriate.
• Participate in daily briefings, debriefs, and team meetings.
• Maintain compliance with NDIS Quality and Safeguards Standards.
• Complete administrative tasks and documentation in a timely and accurate manner.

As a Program Support Worker within the NextPath Continuous Learning Program (part of the Mater Dei Organisation), you will play an important role in supporting participants to achieve their personal goals through structured learning experiences.Working closely with Program Coordinators, you will deliver programs across both onsite and community settings, empowering participants to build independence, confidence, and life skills. This is a hands‑on, rewarding role suited to someone who is passionate about capacity‑building and thrives in a collaborative, dynamic environment.

KEY TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Deliver structured, individualised programs to participants in group and 1:1 settings
• Support participants to achieve personal goals through active engagement and encouragement
• Assist participants to access community-based learning opportunities
• Undertake participant transport and drive as required to support service delivery, community participation, and program activities.
• Accurately collect data and maintain progress notes using online systems
• Follow participant support plans, risk assessments, and daily program plans
• Respond to participant needs and elevate concerns as appropriate
• Participate in daily briefings, debriefs, and team meetings
• Maintain compliance with NDIS Quality and Safeguards Standards
• Support safe transport of participants, including driving responsibilities where required
• Complete administrative tasks and documentation in a timely and accurate manner

• Availability to work Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays is essential
• Maintaining a current driver's licence and a clear driving record is an essential requirement of the role.
• Availability to work flexible hours between 6:30am and 6:00pm

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS

• Current Working with Children Check and NDIS Worker Screening Clearance
• Valid NSW Driver’s Licence and access to a reliable vehicle (mileage reimbursed)
• Service NSW Driver Record and evidence of CTP Insurance
• Completion of NDIS Worker Orientation ModuleA current first aid and CPR certificate
• Alignment with organisational values and adherence to policies and procedures
