Job summary

Payworx in Wollongong, NSW, is looking for experienced Mental Health Support Workers to join our team across multiple SIL homes. This casual position offers flexible shifts, including PM and sleepover rosters, to support participants with diverse needs and promote independence and community engagement.

You will provide daily living support, document shift notes, follow individual support plans, and collaborate with staff to create a safe, respectful environment.

Qualifications

• NDIS Worker Screening Check, WWCC, Police Check are mandatory credentials.
• NDIS Orientation Modules and First Aid/CPR are required.
• COVID-19 vaccination and Infection Control training are expected.
• Driver's license and reliable vehicle needed for mobility across sites.

About the Role

This is a casual position with flexible shifts,. You'll be working in Supported Independent Living (SIL) settings, providing tailored support to participants with diverse needs.

What We're Looking For

• Complex and aggressive behaviours (highly desirable)
• Brain injury and schizophrenia support (highly desirable)
• Medication administration
• Accurate documentation (shift notes, incident reports)
• Time management and adaptability across varied environments
• Fluent English - both verbal and written (non-negotiable)
