Job summary

Silverchain in Victoria Park WA is seeking Care Aides for casual roles (15–40 hours per week), primarily Monday to Friday, 7:00am to 3:00pm. You will travel between clients' homes delivering high-quality personal care and support.

You will assist with showering, grooming, toileting, meal prep, medications, domestic tasks, and social engagement, using a mobile app to follow schedules. A valid driver's license and reliable vehicle are essential.

Qualifications

• Certificate III in Aged Care or equivalent is highly desirable.
• 3–6+ months care worker experience for those without a certificate.
• Experience in home care/community setting is desirable.
• Valid Drivers’ Licence with access to a registered vehicle is essential.
• Ability to work autonomously using a digital schedule and care plan via a mobile app.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality care and support promoting client independence.

Care Aide - Victoria Park and Surrounds - WA

We’re recruiting Care Aides for casual roles (15–40 hours per week), mainly needed Monday–Friday between 7:00am and 3:00pm.

Applicants must live in Bentley, Como, East Victoria Park, Karawara, Kensington, Manning, Salter Point, South Perth, St James, Victoria Park, Waterford.

The role involves delivering high-quality personal care and support, including showering, grooming, toileting, medication assistance, meal preparation, domestic tasks and community-based social support. Care Aides work independently, travelling between clients’ homes, so a reliable vehicle and confidence using a mobile app to follow schedules and care plans are essential.

What we’re looking for

• Certificate III in Aged Care, Individual Support, HACC, Disability is highly desirable, although not essential.


• Those with a relevant Certificate will require a minimum of 3 months relevant care worker experience. Those without a relevant Certificate will require a minimum of 6+ months relevant care worker experience (FTE).


• Experience working in a home care/community setting is highly desirable.


• A valid Drivers’ License with unrestricted access to a registered vehicle which is appropriately insured and in good condition, is essential.


• Ability and willingness to work autonomously in the community, travelling from home to home, referring to a digital schedule and care plan, via a mobile app, will be essential.


• Excellent interpersonal and communication (verbal & written) skills are essential.
