Job summary

The CareSide is recruiting a compassionate Support Worker to assist clients at home in St Marys, TAS. This casual role involves 10 hours per week with travel reimbursement and PPE provided to support your success.

You will deliver personal care, help with daily tasks, provide social support, and ensure safe transport to appointments, while maintaining accurate care records and building meaningful client relationships.

Qualifications

• Fluent in German and compassionate, reliable, and committed to delivering exceptional care.
• Must have current First Aid and CPR certificate.
• National Police Clearance Certificate required.
• Current Australian Driver’s Licence with registered vehicle and insurance.
• Smartphone required.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care: showers, dressing, grooming, toileting, and medication prompts.
• Assist with domestic tasks: cleaning, meal prep, shopping.
• Offer social support and respite care.
• Transport clients to appointments.
• Maintain accurate care records.

About The Role

We are looking for a compassionate Support Worker to join our fast-growing team in TAS. As a Support Worker/Carer, you will be responsible for assisting clients with various daily activities to help them continue to live safely and independently at home. This position requires 10 hours per week. We offer travel reimbursement and provide all necessary PPE to support your safety and success in the role.
