Job summary

Calvary Care in Sydney, NSW is seeking Support Workers to visit clients in the St George area, travelling to where needed. We have permanent part-time roles with flexible hours and days, including opportunities to work at our Day Respite Centre on Mondays and Tuesdays.

Qualifications

• A Certificate III in Aged Care or Individual Support or working towards.
• Current and valid Driver’s Licence, insured, reliable motor vehicle and smart mobile phone
• Effective verbal and written communication skills with a customer service orientation
• Ability to work independently and effectively manage time
• Proficiency in use of technology such as smart phones, email and internet

Responsibilities

• Assisting clients with general domestic tasks, personal care and meal preparation.
• Providing respite care, social support and transport services
• Support clients to achieve their goals and make choices in partnership with other support networks.
• Promote client choice, positive routines and activities ensuring they are meaningful to the client

About the role

As a Support Worker your role will beto assist a diverse range of clients with activities of daily living in their homes and out in the community.
