Job summary

Aruma is seeking a compassionate Support Worker for Home & Living in Tamworth. You will empower participants to live independently and participate in daily activities, fostering dignity and inclusion in their own homes.

You will work across a 24/7 roster, delivering personal care, building connections, and supporting daily living tasks with a person-centered approach. Training and development opportunities are available.

Qualifications

• CPR and First Aid certification required or willing to obtain.
• NDIS Worker Screening Check required or willingness to obtain.
• Working with Children Check required or willingness to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Empower participants to develop skills and achieve personal goals.
• Provide personal care with dignity (hygiene, meals, mobility) while respecting choices.
• Foster inclusion through activities, hobbies, and community engagement.
• Maintain accurate, timely records and communicate effectively with the team.
• Support participants across a 24/7 roster, including overnights and weekends.
