Job summary

The CareSide in NSW is seeking a compassionate Support Worker to assist clients at home. This casual role offers 6 hours per week, with shifts on Mondays or Tuesdays from 10:00AM to 4:00PM, including travel reimbursement and PPE.

The ideal candidate will provide personal care, domestic support, companionship, and transport to appointments, while maintaining care records and ensuring safety.

Qualifications

• Fluent in German and compassionate, reliable, and committed to delivering exceptional care.
• Current First Aid and CPR Certificate.
• National Police Clearance Certificate.
• Current Australian Driver’s Licence with registered vehicle and insurance.
• Smartphone.
• Organised, punctual, friendly, and genuinely caring.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care: showers, dressing, grooming, toileting, and medication prompts.
• Assist with domestic tasks: cleaning, meal prep, shopping.
• Offer social support and respite care.
• Transport clients to appointments.
• Maintain accurate care records.

About The Role

We are looking for a compassionate Support Worker to join our fast-growing team in NSW. As a Support Worker/Carer, you will be responsible for assisting clients with various daily activities to help them continue to live safely and independently at home. This position offers 6 hours per week, with shifts scheduled every Monday or Tuesday from 10:00AM to 4:00PM. Kindly note that it’s an alternating hour every week. The job will include travel reimbursement, and company-provided PPE.
