Job summary

Blue Ribbon is seeking a dedicated Support Worker for our Southport service. The role involves helping individuals with Autism and Learning Disabilities live more independently, supporting daily living, personal care, and community access. A caring, patient, and collaborative mindset is essential to thrive in our inclusive team.

The position is full-time, with day or night shifts available. Training and progression opportunities are provided as you work towards Level 2 in Health & Social Care.

Responsibilities

• Enable people we support to access activities aligned with personal choices.
• Contribute to person-centred care plans and meet individual needs.
• Assist with personal care, daily living tasks, and maintain a safe environment.
• Accurately complete care records, fluid/ nutrition charts, and incident reports.
• Administer and record medication safely and accurately.
• Support with meal preparation and domestic tasks.
• Provide psychological, emotional, and physical support to service users.
• Facilitate community access and appointments, encouraging social interaction.
