Calvary The Highbury in Glen Waverley is seeking a Permanent Part-Time Food Service Assistant to support the delivery of high-quality meals and hospitality services for residents. Qualifications

• Valid working rights in Australia.
• Experience working in an aged care or hospitality environment.
• A current National Police Check (or willingness to obtain one).
• A Food Handling Certificate or Food Safety qualification.

Responsibilities

About the role

Calvary The Highbury in Glen Waverley is seeking a Permanent Part-Time Food Service Assistant to support the delivery of high-quality meals and hospitality services for residents. This is a rewarding opportunity for someone with a positive attitude, strong customer service skills, and a passion for enhancing the wellbeing of older people.

Your main duties will include:

Main duties include assisting with meal preparation and service, setting up and clearing dining areas, delivering meals and beverages to residents, washing dishes, cleaning kitchen and dining spaces, and maintaining high standards of food safety, hygiene, and infection control. You will also help create a positive dining experience by providing friendly and respectful service to residents.
