RSL LifeCare Limited is seeking a Home Care Support Worker to help veterans and seniors stay safe and comfortable at home across NSW. You will assist with personal care, provide respite support, and enable clients to stay active while following individual care plans.

This permanent part-time role offers flexible hours, competitive pay up to $38.22 per hour (based on experience), and salary packaging benefits to enhance take-home pay.

Qualifications

• A caring nature and passion for helping people.
• Certificate in Individual Support, Aged Care or Disability required or preferred.
• Strong communication with clients and team members.
• Ability to work independently and use technology when needed.
• Australian working rights and valid driver’s license.
• Police Check or NDIS Check (or willingness to obtain).
• Experience in aged care or disability support is desirable.
• First Aid and CPR certification (or willingness to obtain).
• Mandatory clearances for Aged Care workers must be verified before starting.

As a Support Worker, you’ll help people stay safe and comfortable at home by:

• Helping with personal care (showering, dressing, grooming)
• Providing respite care (giving carers a break)
• Helping clients stay active and connected in their community
• Following care plans to meet each person’s needs
• Working as a team to provide the best support possible

To succeed in this role we'd expect you to have:

• A caring nature – genuinely passionate about helping people
• Certificate in Individual Support, Aged Care or Disability
• Good communication skills with the ability chat and listen to clients and team members
• Ability to work independently & comfortable using technology
• Australian working rights
• A valid driver’s licence and access to a reliable, insured car
• A Police Check and/or NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to get one)
• Experience in aged care or disability support
• First Aid and CPR certificate (or willingness to get one)
• It is a mandatory requirement for a team member working in the Aged Care sector to have a valid Police Check or a valid National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) check, or potentially both, to undertake the inherent requirements of the role. Clearances must be verified prior to commencing employment with RSL LifeCare.
